What the app stores
After authentication, MicroTell uses a Site-scoped user identifier and your account email to authorize access. A learning profile stores your chosen name, goal, level and terms version. Exercise records store responses as scores, confidence, duration settings and timestamps. Owner chat messages, lesson edits, feature requests and admin activity are also stored.
What it does not collect
The prototype does not request a camera, microphone, face recordings, biometric templates or payment-card data. Theme preferences are stored on your device. No advertising or analytics trackers have been added by this application. Hosting and identity providers may process operational logs under their own policies.
AI connections
Library Guide matches stored source summaries without an external AI call. If an API provider is configured and selected, your current message, limited conversation history and selected research summaries are sent to that provider. OpenAI requests use store:false. This does not eliminate the provider’s own retention or logging policies. Never put API keys, interview records or sensitive personal information into chat.
Storage and access
Application records are kept in the hosted database and scoped to the signed-in account. Admin operations are restricted server-side to the configured owner. Server-side keys are not sent to the browser. Lessons and practice pages are publicly accessible. Learning records remain scoped to the signed-in account, and the admin workspace remains restricted to the owner.
Export, deletion and retention
Use Settings to export your learning profile, exercise records and owner chat messages, or delete those records. Published lessons and development requests are app content and are not deleted with a profile. Application records persist until deleted; automatic retention expiry is not implemented. Hosting backups and provider logs follow their own retention policies. Deleting app data does not delete your ChatGPT account.
Privacy program status
Operator and contact details, retention settings and privacy-request procedures are still being finalized. Use Settings for the export and deletion controls currently available. This draft is not a completed public-service privacy program.
