RESPONSIBLE LEARNING

Notice more. Assume less.

The limits of behavioral interpretation are part of the curriculum, not fine print.

Movement is not a verdict

A facial action, gesture or posture does not establish an emotion, motive, diagnosis, deception or future violence. Record observations, consider competing explanations, and seek context or corroboration.

A person is more than a cue

Culture, neurodiversity, disability, pain, fatigue, environment and individual style affect behavior. Do not use differences in eye contact or expression as evidence of dishonesty or poor character.

High-stakes settings

Do not use MicroTell or its scores for employment, school discipline, clinical assessment, forensic credibility judgments, coercive interrogation or violence prediction. Professional activities require appropriate training, lawful practice and independent evidence.

Conflict and safety

The conflict module practices proportionate responses to observable interaction. It does not teach predicting attacks from expressions. If danger is immediate, move toward safety and seek appropriate emergency help.

Disclaimers have limits

Educational-use wording can clarify scope, but it cannot guarantee immunity or cure misleading claims. Public release needs independent scientific review, accurate marketing, media permissions and qualified legal review.
